Last I left you we were finally done getting the new car.
SO we dropped the child and the blue car off at my mother’s house and went out on the town to shop in the gold one. First stop, tires. The car had 2 bald, one nearly bald, and one nearly halfway decent tire. BJs tire center was slooooow so we decided to go the new NTB across the street. They were great, even though it still took a while. I was glad to have a Pen to write down my thoughts about the situation..more about that later. They even were able to break the locks off the front tires *hence why there were bald tires there in the first place, I guess*.
I also got to get some strawberry smelly trees for the car, then off we went to buy CLOTHES!!!
This is where it all went downhill. IF you thought I might have been aggravated before, buying clothes honestly screwed me up. I was in tears by the end of that journey. I can’t believe how HUGE I am compared to what I was before… and this ain’t no baby fat.
I get why Jenn was having a fit when she went shopping. We were at Forman Mills. Husby found all kinds of goodies for himself, whereas I was left with the realization that I am now a 10 and not 5, 6, 7, or 8. I skipped right over 9 to a 10. This sounds small to many, but for a woman who has spent most of her adult sized life in sizes 5 to 8 and never weighed much more or less than 135 lbs, this is a shock to the system.
I did end up with a few things that fit well. Husby was ridiculously supportive when he saw how much I was freaking out. I was going to leave with a pair of stretchy pants and that’s about it. I ended up with a small amount of clothes that will work for me for a little while. I will be taking pictures in one of the outfits soon as I need Husby to frame it so that I look okay.
Here is what I wrote as I was waiting for the tires to be done.
